Meet the Staff...

Growing for the future

Andrew Bottcher has been gardening and landscaping for over a decade. His love for gardening began when as a teenager, he started a large productive organic garden in his childhood home, initiating a lifetime of love for nature.

He went on to work for the WSU research and extension center doing horticultural research, to studying in an intensive three-month permaculture design course. His 3+ of professional landscaping experience in a large variety of homes has made him intimately familiar with landscaping techniques and the trade generally.

At Cedar Branch Landscapes, Andrew uses his varied background and forward-thinking attitude to construct dynamic landscapes that inspire, whilst cultivating adaptation amidst changing circumstances.

Ecological Stewardship

Designed for Natural Resilience

Our gardens are built to thrive without constant intervention. We reject synthetic lawns and chemical treatments, focusing instead on native plant communities that flourish in their natural microclimates.

This approach ensures a vibrant, self-sustaining landscape that respects the inherent biodiversity of the Pacific Northwest and incorporates species for climate change adaptation, reducing water use and maintenance.

Long-Term Cultivation

We plant for ten springs from now.

Our commitment extends beyond installation. We design for seasonal progression, ensuring your outdoor space matures into a rich, dynamic ecosystem that grows more beautiful with each passing year.

We uniquely keep an eye on changing climate conditions and current science to plan for optimal landscape success amidst uncertainty, especially for long term designs.
